Hitting a wall.

The past two weeks i really hit a wall with my artefacts, i mean a big wall, like the berlin wall of all wall-hitting activities.
All it took was a 5 minute phone conversation with my dad to figure out where i needed to go next.
At first i thought i needed to do more reading, then i didn't know what i needed to do but crying in the foetal position doesn't count as an artefact SO.
My last artefact gave out extremely random results which proved to me that when users are given a choice they don't really know what they want in terms on content delivery and use of imagery, the two things that prove to be pretty important in responsive design. In a nutshell it was pretty inconclusive.

My dad then said to me, what are you trying to prove?
The more i over think it the worse i'm getting, all i'm trying to prove is how mobiles have changed the way we deliver content for web, so what i need to do is break it down, what would users like to see, one or the other?

Therefore i've decided that i'm going to either find existing responsive news sites with different content layout, or make them based roughly on the results i received from the users. Then carry out a focus group to get the opinions on the two comparative news pages.
The reason i'm focusing on news pages is because they rely on each other to get the message across to the user. And as i found from my research document, imagery is pretty bloody important.
So SORTED! Going to research into all that tonight and tomorrow, set up my focus group of around 10 people, whether i do it individually or as a group will be something i have to think about however i need to test a big age range of people to get a more accurate result.

Aaaand breathe.
sound.
